does v-line include mandible reduction?

I'm sorry for the stupid question but I would like clarification about the v-line surgery. Is it different at every clinic? Does it depend on your face shape? (There seem to be several different methods for doing v-line depending on face shape such as jaw shaving, T-osteotomy, etc.)
